Hey gorgeous. As some of you may now, I am in my twenties (hashtag adulting--kinda!) So in honor of what is promised to be some of the best years of my life I wanted to share ten lessons you should know by and for your twenties.
I am also sharing one of my favorite go-to outfits with you all. If you are an OG reader of mine, you know that I have a love-hate relationship with off the shoulder tops. I love how they look on me, but I hate that I anytime I bend, lift my arms, or move in anyway (btw, I'm Cuban so I talk with my hands a lot, haha) the shirt shifts. Oh they also get all messed up via a seat belt so here's a quick fashion tip, when wearing an off the shoulder top make sure before you step out you fix your top...trust me on this one. Anyways, I found this off the shoulder top (with straps too, I just usually tuck them in) at Macy's in one of my favorite colors, white, so you know I had to buy it. I swear I have more white tops currently in my closet than most people have in a lifetime. It's a serious addiction. What I love is that this top is lightweight so I don't melt under the Miami sun and pairs great with jeans! By the way: On my sneak peek,Instagram post I couldn't find the exact top to link, but I finally found it (thank you shopping stalker skills) and linked it below and here.
Happy Tuesday! Today I wanted to share with you all this off the shoulder top I am living for. To be 100% honest I was not a fan of this trend when it first started. I still am not a huge fan of the traditional off the shoulder top that are just the elastic band basically because they are so hard to function in. Like can I bend? No. Can I give hugs? No. It just isn't a practical top, so I only own one.
But that's why I am obsessed with this one from MittoShop becaue it has sleeves. So I can move around and live life without fear that my top is going to scrunch up. What I love about it too is that you can dress it up or dress it down. I dressed it down here, with ripped jeans and sandals. But you can dress it up with dress pants or a skirt and heels. It honestly is a closet need! To all my fellow college students, I wish you a new semester filled with caffeine and minimal stress. I know that we will all kick butt this semester, haha! Well, as always thanks for stopping by the blog today and if you haven't subscribe make sure you do so you do not miss out! XO Shop the Post

Jeans: Sneak Peek | Shoes: Sam Edelman | Necklace: Kendra Scott | Bracelets: David Yurman, Taudrey Hello lovelies! I am so sorry I have been out of the blogging game (again!) I am working full time this summer so adjusting to 9:00 to 5:00 has been my priority. Anyways, I am so excited to share with you all images from my first #SwimWeek fashion show as a blogger. To say that Miami Swim Week was magical would be an understatement. From the stunning views, to the gorgeous designs, to all the amazing people attending, there is never a dull moment. This weekend was definitely one for the books!
I was so excited to attend the Revel Rey "Funk N Sol" fashion show at the 1 Hotel South Beach. What made this show really special was the fact that it was their debut at swim week. The bikinis were not only stunning, but also original. Any kind of girl, from girly to sporty, can find a swimsuit that will have her feeling confident. I especially love that each swimsuit is hand designed. The high energy show paired perfectly with the fun, colorful swimsuits. Make sure you check out Revel Rey to see all the amazing pieces! I cannot wait to share the rest of my #SwimWeek adventures with you this week on the blog so stay tuned. As always thanks for reading! Have a happy hump day!! PS: If you have been following me on SnapChat (ashmsondon), you saw the amazing pieces at the show that I adored, but if not here is a teaser: https://vimeo.com/175160798
Hello lovelies! To kick off the official start to summer (yesterday), I wanted to share some of my summer-time favorites. As you all know, I am a summer-time kinda girl, being from Miami and all, so I absolutely love this time of year. I am so excited for this summer especially because I have a lot of blessings and projects. So enough of my blabbing...let's start summer shopping!
The first item I am in love with is this bikini top from Target. Believe it or not, Target is home to some of the cutest swimwear ever! They have great selections for all body types as well which is great. I purchased this top to match with a black bottom I had previously purchased because it is not only very flattering, but also fun with its bright pops of color. Another item that I actually have in my closet that is a total summer essential are theseespadrilles by Splendid. They come in three colors: tan, red, and blue. They are surprisingly comfy too! The next two items are perfect for those of us who love to lounge...Pool floats are all the rage on Instagram lately, so you don't want to miss out on this photo-op! I am obsessed withthis one because it is a pineapple and this one because nothing quite says diva like floating around on a swan. I wanted to share with you all my latest makeup find as well that won't hurt your wallet, Vivid Matte Liquid lipstick by Maybelline. I am not going to share too many details other than I love it because I have a post on it coming soon (stay tuned!) You can shop these and my other summer essentials below. Which items are you craving this summer? Share with me below...I hearing from you all. FYI, sadly, when the blog was updated all comments on previous posts were deleted *cue tears* so if you go back to previous posts and don't see your comments, I apologize. As always thank you for stopping by the blog and make sure to use lots of SPF! ? XO Shop the Post |
