Hello new week! I know today I promised you all a post on how I organize my agenda, BUT I decided I wanted to share some of my spring favorites with you all and save the agenda post for later this week. Just a quick FYI in case you are new here to the blog... when you shop my posts or under Lookbook or Favorites, I may receive a percentage of the purchase. This does NOT affect your purchase price. If you see something on here or my Instagram you like please consider shopping directly from my links because it helps me (broke college girl-haha!) and continue to create content for IAP. Also keep in mind that ALL opinions and writings are my own and I will never share anything I do not believe in or don't like.
Now with all that out of the way, let's indulge in some of my favorite items for spring! As you know we are approaching March quickly so spring is almost here! And with tax return season here (hello extra pocket $), I wanted to share pieces that are perfect for all budgets. The first item I want to talk about are these Marc Fisher wedges you NEED in your closet. I own a pair so I can vouch and say not only are they super comfortable, but also go with almost any outfit and are easy to dress up or down. They are a closet staple! While we are on the subject of shoes, I love rainbow stripe sneakers, oh and did I mention they are currently 50% off, with an additional 20% off TODAY (2/18), so that's a total of 70% off! I think they are the perfect shoes to pair with a casual dress on the weekend or to add some color to .a basic leggings + white tee look. Now let's talk about spring break must-haves! As you all know if you have been following me for a while, I am a major LongChamp fan. I think they are timeless bags that both practical and stylish. Their weekender bag is one I have been dying to add to my collection. It is perfect for a quick trip and comes in lots of colors. This spring you'll be seeing a lot of pieces featuring knot-details and this bikini top is no exclusion, ps: it is under $50! Want to splurge on a cosmetic bag to stash in your purse or beach bag? This Tory Burch is the perfect one! It is bright and colorful to easily find in your bag and will be one that will last years! Another favorite of mine is this clutch that is adorable for any beach getaway! Have a formal event or wedding coming up this spring? I have you covered. I love this formal light blue dress for black tie wedding. On the accessory front, I love these earrings from BaubleBar and I am currently searching for a dress to pair with them for an upcoming event I have. They are so chic! If you have multiple events this spring, definitely get this 3-pack of statement earrings from BaubleBar. You get three bold colored earrings and for under $80! Finish off your look with a spritz of this finishing spray from MAC, it'll keep your makeup in place all night long and give you some extra shimmer! To wrap up this post I want to share my top three favorites from these picks. The first, is definitely a splurge but will make the perfect give for an important birthday or the perfectly daily piece that is timeless...a David Yurman bracelet. I own two personally and I literally wear them every day. Like I mentioned before they are timeless jewelry pieces that you will get years and years of. The second pick is this classic, white leather clutch from Tory Burch. This clutch is the perfect piece for all your spring and summer outings. And last but not least, This LND (little navy dress). I am in love with this dress and the details on the arms. This LND is perfect for date night. Hope you love these picks as much as I do and hope you can find at least one piece to add to your closet! You can shop all the items I talked about above and the many other spring pieces I love below. Have a wonderful week! Shop the Post
Happy February & welcome back to my blog! One of my new year resolutions for the blog, was to not only share fashion, beauty, and travel/lifestyle but also write more meaningful posts that I hope you guys can relate to. Today I wanted to talk about self-love. This is a topic we see all over social media nowadays and even Justin Bieber is singing about it (in case you don't get the reference). When most people hear the term they think about taking a nap or putting on a face mask (because for some reason I think a sheet mask will solve 90% of my problems), but it is a lot more than that.
For years I thought I was so confident, and yeah part of me was, but for the most part it is was not genuine. When I hit my twenties I began to realize I needed a change. I needed to start valuing myself and doing things that would benefit me instead of always trying to please others. Someone once told me you will never have a healthy relationship with anyone, if you can't even love and have a relationship yourself. It was one of the pieces of advice I will never forget. It is important to be your own source of happiness! Your relationship, friends/family, and work can also bring you joy but you should be the main source. It is easier said than done and it will always be a work in progress but learn to put you first. Learn to embrace your flaws! There's a quote that goes: "You can be the ripest, juiciest peach in the world, and there's still going to be somebody who hates peaches.” The hardest thing to do especially with social media today is not to compare yourself to anyone else, but we shouldn't. Since I have stopped comparing myself, it is like a weight off of my shoulders. None of us are perfect and we all have our strengths and weaknesses. As an older cousin to lots of young girls, I always want them to know their worth and the importance of loving themselves inside and out. So during this month of love don't just show extra love to your bf's/husbands, friends, and family but to YOU! Treat yo self! Have a spa day with a friend, start saving up for a fun trip, or have your favorite meal, but most importantly start (or continue) to work on your confidence and realizing you are worth so much! Thank you for reading my blog posts + I hope this post inspired you in some way! Also you can shop my look below. Have a great week! Shop the Post

Hi my loves! I am so, so excited for today's post because I have been a fan of Converse since I was in like 5th grade (aka my awkward stage, don't ask for pics!) But Converse are a staple every girl (and guy) should have in their closet. Trust me, my low tops have been with me through three college tailgate seasons and always need a little TLC... I wash mine in my washing machine and they always come out almost new!
When the opportunity presented itself to collaborate with converse for their #ForeverChucks campaign, I instantly had to be a part of it! Honestly converse pair well with almost any casual look and they are the perfect shoe for when you want a comfy, easy option so you don't leave the house in your chancletas! This is my first pair of Converse high tops and I had been dyingggg for these! Call me your basic Lourdes girl (and proud!) because there is nothing better than a pair of white Converse. You will be catching me in these all of spring and summer! Honestly what I love the very most about my Converse is that they never go out of style, like me--haha! Tomorrow is EASTER! I feel like New Year's Eve was yesterday...2018 is literally flying by! I hope the Easter Bunny leaves some Converse in your Easter basket, and if not no worries, I have linked my favorite new pair below so you can style them with me! Let me know what you think about Converse in the comment section below. Thanks for stopping by the blog, I appreciate all of my readers so, so much! If you celebrated Passover last night, I hope it was amazing and to all those celebrating Easter tomorrow, I send my love. XO Shop the Post

Hi, so I know it has been a minute since I have written on the blog but I had major technical difficulties, but don't worry I am back and I am better than ever. As all of my long time readers know I tend to be a basic b*tch from time-to-time (sue me!) so of course, when I heard the most instagramable museum in the world was coming to Miami, I knew I had to get my hands on tickets. For those of you who are living under a rock, the Museum of Ice Cream is a taste-filled and colorful experience that can currently be found in both Miami and San Francisco.
My BFF and pink-loving partner in crime, Allie and I went because let's face it we will do anything for the gram, even pay $44 (sorry to my wallet!) It was a once in a lifetime experience for sure. We definitely took full advantage of all the rooms and really enjoyed taste testing all the delicious treats from a chocolate shake topped with pink whip cream to melted ice cream (which gave my a sugar rush I never need to experience again). But in all honesty it was a fun girl's day and I definitely recommend it for anyone who takes their Instagram game as serious as I do or has a sweet tooth like mine. As always you can shop my look below and under the 'My Looks' tab. A word of advice, snatch my BaubleBar earrings quick...like I am getting them in every color (sorry not sorry). Have you been to the MOIC? Let me know below. Well, thank you for stopping by the blog. You make my heart very happy! Enjoy your week and please feel free as always to slide into my DMs or comment below if you have any questions or comments. XO Shop the Post |
