Happy Tuesday! Today I wanted to share with you all this off the shoulder top I am living for. To be 100% honest I was not a fan of this trend when it first started. I still am not a huge fan of the traditional off the shoulder top that are just the elastic band basically because they are so hard to function in. Like can I bend? No. Can I give hugs? No. It just isn't a practical top, so I only own one.
But that's why I am obsessed with this one from MittoShop becaue it has sleeves. So I can move around and live life without fear that my top is going to scrunch up. What I love about it too is that you can dress it up or dress it down. I dressed it down here, with ripped jeans and sandals. But you can dress it up with dress pants or a skirt and heels. It honestly is a closet need!
To all my fellow college students, I wish you a new semester filled with caffeine and minimal stress. I know that we will all kick butt this semester, haha! Well, as always thanks for stopping by the blog today and if you haven't subscribe make sure you do so you do not miss out! XO

Happy 2016 my beautiful readers! One of my new year resolutions this year is to be 100% present on my blog. So here I am! Today I wanted to give you all a recap on my 2016 since I was not very active. So here is a little look into my life!
2016 was full of ups and downs, to say the least...March was filled with mixed emotions and beginnings. On March 9, I was blessed with a new, beautiful baby cousin, his name is Matthew. He is the cutest little boy and currently he is crawling all over and obsessed with Mickey Mouse. A few days after his arrival I was diagnosed with type one diabetes. While having type one diabetes is an uphill battle, I am blessed to have friends and family supporting me constantly. I will be sharing lots of updates, as well as stories and more relating to my type one diabetes on the blog this year.
During the summer, I began my internship at Goodwill of South Florida as the social media coordinator intern. It has been such a blessing to work there and I have learned so much! Moving forward to August, I began my second year at Florida International University and joined a sorority...Phi Mu! Joining Phi Mu was the best decision I have ever made. I love my sisterhood so much. I have created the most amazing friendships through Phi Mu with sisters. These girls love me with all my flaws, are there for me through thick and thin, and are always down for an adventure. I can't wait to feature them on my blog and Instagram.
Above, I have shared some a video I captured of a sneak peek into my 2016!
Overall this year was a journey--to say the least--but I am grateful for all the amazing people that came into my life. I am so incredibly blessed. I am looking forward to seeing what 2017 has in store for me. Thank you to all my dedicated readers who reached out and asked for more posts. You are the reason I am coming back stronger this year and dedicating myself to IAP. I wish you all a new year filled with love, health, and many blessings! Stay tuned. XO
Hey lovely readers! I am so excited to be sharing my favorite skincare item in my bathroom--my Clarisonic. In case you haven't discovered Clarisonic yet, let me fill you in...Clarisonic is a renowed beauty company that specializes in facial brushes that have the power to transform your skin (literally!) In fact, using a Clarisonic brush on your skin is six times more effective than using your hands alone! And trust me when I say the difference you'll see in your skin is incredible.
Ever since I was a little girl, I have struggled with sensitive skin. I sunburn easily, rash easily, and most beauty products tend to agitate my skin. Close friends and family began to rave about Clarisonic so I knew I had to find out what all the buzz was about. I am obsessed! I typically use my Clarisonic, mine is the Deep Pore Mia 2, 1-2 time a day. What I love about the Deep Pore Mia 2 is that it times out how long you should stay on each portion of your face and really cleans out your pores. Ever since I began using Clarisonic products my skin has been glowing and clears out fast.
With Christmas around the corner (so excited!) you'll want to add Clarisonic products to your wish list and pick some out for your BFF's--because your girl gang should all have flawless skin. To make Clarisonic even more irresistable, use my coupon code HERCAMPUS now through Novemeber 20 at checkout and you will receive 15% off your order. So shop quickly! XO
PS: Before I wrap up this blog post, I want to toss in a little request...as most of you know I am a proud sister of the sorority Phi Mu, and I am happy to announce one of my sisters is running for Beta's (a fraternity) Miss Shooting Star Pagaent. The Miss Shooting Star pagaent is a week of events, leading to the main event--the pagaent--all in efforts to not only bring awareness, but also fundraise for the Make a Wish foundation, which is an incredible philanthropy! My sister Haley needs your help to win! Please click HERE and like this photo. It will literally take you seconds and is for an amazing cause. Thanks babes!

I love visiting European Wax Center® because their locations are stylish and sanitary (the two most important ‘S’). I tried the Strut Line™ and could not be more in love! The one thing I do every day, no matter what is put on foundation and fill in my eyebrows. I truly believe that filling in your eyebrows just gives your face a more polished look even if you are makeup free. I use the ‘Brow Pals Dual-Ended Brow Brush first brush out my eyebrows with the thicker end and then apply the Browfection™ Brow Powder Duo with the other to give myself thicker-appearing brows. I also love the Ready. Set. Brow™ Perfect Brow Groomer for long days, where you are going to want your brows to stay in place, plus I love that the texture is not too thick so it applies evenly. And of course, when you want to add an extra POP to your brow game you have to try the Oh My Brow!™ Highlighter it is the perfect brow highlighter ever.
If you are ready to conquer the world, two brows at a time, make sure you head over to your local European Wax Center® to get started. Hello lovelies! I am so sorry I have been out of the blogging game (again!) I am working full time this summer so adjusting to 9:00 to 5:00 has been my priority. Anyways, I am so excited to share with you all images from my first #SwimWeek fashion show as a blogger. To say that Miami Swim Week was magical would be an understatement. From the stunning views, to the gorgeous designs, to all the amazing people attending, there is never a dull moment. This weekend was definitely one for the books!
I was so excited to attend the Revel Rey "Funk N Sol" fashion show at the 1 Hotel South Beach. What made this show really special was the fact that it was their debut at swim week. The bikinis were not only stunning, but also original. Any kind of girl, from girly to sporty, can find a swimsuit that will have her feeling confident. I especially love that each swimsuit is hand designed. The high energy show paired perfectly with the fun, colorful swimsuits. Make sure you check out Revel Rey to see all the amazing pieces!
I cannot wait to share the rest of my #SwimWeek adventures with you this week on the blog so stay tuned. As always thanks for reading! Have a happy hump day!!
PS: If you have been following me on SnapChat (ashmsondon), you saw the amazing pieces at the show that I adored, but if not here is a teaser: https://vimeo.com/175160798
Hello lovelies! To kick off the official start to summer (yesterday), I wanted to share some of my summer-time favorites. As you all know, I am a summer-time kinda girl, being from Miami and all, so I absolutely love this time of year. I am so excited for this summer especially because I have a lot of blessings and projects. So enough of my blabbing...let's start summer shopping!
The first item I am in love with is this bikini top from Target. Believe it or not, Target is home to some of the cutest swimwear ever! They have great selections for all body types as well which is great. I purchased this top to match with a black bottom I had previously purchased because it is not only very flattering, but also fun with its bright pops of color. Another item that I actually have in my closet that is a total summer essential are theseespadrilles by Splendid. They come in three colors: tan, red, and blue. They are surprisingly comfy too!
The next two items are perfect for those of us who love to lounge...Pool floats are all the rage on Instagram lately, so you don't want to miss out on this photo-op! I am obsessed withthis one because it is a pineapple and this one because nothing quite says diva like floating around on a swan. I wanted to share with you all my latest makeup find as well that won't hurt your wallet, Vivid Matte Liquid lipstick by Maybelline. I am not going to share too many details other than I love it because I have a post on it coming soon (stay tuned!)
You can shop these and my other summer essentials below. Which items are you craving this summer? Share with me below...I hearing from you all. FYI, sadly, when the blog was updated all comments on previous posts were deleted *cue tears* so if you go back to previous posts and don't see your comments, I apologize. As always thank you for stopping by the blog and make sure to use lots of SPF! ? XO

Happy Monday! I hope you are sipping on plenty of coffee after your fun weekend. Today on the blog I am excited to share a new workout place I tried along with some of my blogger friends. Ever since I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, in March it has been my goal to maintain a healthy lifestyle (with a few sweets here and there, of course! Haha) So to say I was excited to try pilates would be an understatement. My mom actually takes pilates so I was familiar with it but didn't understand the hype until I attended a Pilates ProWorks class.
Pilates ProWorks is a modern twist on working out with classes like pilates and boxing. My pilates class was definitely challenging, but it was great. I am the queen of complaining about working out, so you could bet that I struggled and wished I was taking a "power nap" versus "powering" through the workout. But I have to say it was an empowering experience! By doing the class I realized I am a lot stronger than I thought. Truth is, I am my toughest critic.
What I love about Pilates ProWorks, other than their amazing Miami-native owner, Summer Christen, is that the classes are fun. Summer taught the class and it was a great workout! It was fun to blow off steam after a long day of classes. Are you ready to work, work work, work (*read that in Rihanna's voice*)? Then take a pilates or boxing class and get your summer body ready! The address and information is below, make sure you let them know I sent you!
I hope you all have an amazing week! And by the way, you deserve that second cup of coffee. Haha! XO
25 Merrick Way, Coral Gables, Florida 33134 (Miracle Mile)

Hello my dedicated readers! I want to first and foremost thank everyone for amazing support throughout this process. It's a PAshion (IAP) has been shut down for four months now (February to May) being renovated, updated, and giving me time to focus on my health. In February I was diagnosed with type one diabetes. To say my world was turned upside down would be an understatement. I am so blessed to be surrounded by such amazing family and friends who have been with me every step of the way and continue to stand by me. While there is currently no cure for type one diabetes, there are medicines and lifestyle habits that help me stay healthy and stable each and every day.
I am excited to share this new journey with you all. Since day one I have always said IAP is "more than just a fashion blog". I will now be introducing more lifestyle posts about being healthy overall: body and mind, as well as the usual fashion/beauty posts. So make sure you hit the subscribe button under Follow!
